Artist Statement

UK based artist working within various domains from the public realm to private.

Milligan's practice utilises drawing as a foundation, this is expressed through various mediums. A form of Dualism is adopted allowing utilised physical, conceptual development intertwine, devoted as one singular working method.

Work is often site specific, focusing on relational etiquette, choice of material often reflecting significance to the area. Using etymology as a vehicle to play offering viewer insight.

Christopher A.W. Milligan studied sculpture and environmental art at Glasgow School of Art, graduating in 2013. Based in Glasgow.
